Sian Hanlon

I was born in 1972 and was creative from day I first held a pencil. I spent hours painting pictures with my grandad, who was a very talented artist. I spent years in university and, although I am a qualified lecturer in Art and Design, I wanted to be more personally creative for myself. I have worked in design and marketing producing product designs, floral displays, and stage and set designs.

During the past ten years I have produced many mural art projects in children’s bedrooms, and on other walls. Today I work a lot in schools, producing murals, and working with children to produce art display boards. I am also a photographer and have photographed many weddings, private functions, and photos for schools. During the past five years I have illustrated three books for other authors, and now I am writing and illustrating my own.
