A solicitor dealing in commercial and family law, Chris’ work covers residential & commercial property together with divorce, cohabitation and child matters.

He started at Robertsons dealing in commercial law which included opening and managing departments that dealt with high profile banks and other commercial work. A number of years ago he moved into the area of family law while still maintaining his work in property. His background in commercial law means that he can deal with property and finances in connection with divorce, civil partnership dissolutions and co-habitation matters.

His commercial experience extends to residential conveyancing, dealing with clients who hold large property portfolios together with landlord & tenant matters for commercial and residential property. Chris’ experience in family law extends to drafting of Wills as well as dealing with high value divorces and co-habitation disputes. He also deals with a large number of child law matters which include residence, contact and child abduction.

In addition, he is a court advocate and has experience in all types of court hearings from interim to final contested trials. This means that all advocacy is undertaken by him as far as possible – someone who knows your case inside out, and he always ensures that he gets the best possible result for every client.

The service Chris offers is very client focused and is a platinum level of service which includes:

– no legal mumbo jumbo, just simple straight forward advice
– flexible hours so that you can contact him daytime, evening and weekends
– flexible appointment times including appointments outside of the office
– phone calls returned as soon as possible if he is not available
– texts and emails replied to within a few hours
– fixed fee work undertaken as much as possible
– transparent fees and continual fee updates

Chris’ wide-ranging legal experience, and dealings with many small business owners led to his first book, Law for Startup Business. In simple, straightforward terms, this book lays out everything you need to think about when starting up a small business, or expanding an existing one. We hope there are more books to follow!
